About us and Who we are
Children are our future with this thought in mind Arumbugal Educational Foundation Charitable Trust was initiated in the year October 2014. Thomas Whale the CEO and Nadine Benech Project Manager Headquartered in Sulingen, Germany started supporting social projects at all the locations. Giving children a better future is our vision and mission statement. Every child in the world is entitled to the best possible scope for development from their early childhood. Thus started Arumbugal Educational Foundation Charitable Trust in Vellore district, India.
Vision and Mission of Arumbugal Educational Foundation
Education is the cornerstone of our communities and our country. It is the level of education that helps people earn respect and recognition. Our aim to provide quality English medium education along with good values and morals to poor, needy, underprivileged children living in and around villages at Gudiyatham. ARUMBUGAL nurtures the passion to give back to society what they have earned. Having come from humble beginnings, we believe that continuous purposeful interventions in the lives of these children will transform them and create better communities through behavioral change and enable them to build a better future for themselves. In doing so we try to exert a positive influence on our environment by taking hands-on action and started the foundation.
Our Approach
Arumbugal Matriculation School is passionate about learning that motivates children. To help bring our curriculum alive we provide memorable learning experiences with a range of trips and visits as well as bringing visiting artists, authors and professionals to our school. Our young toddlers use the indoor play station which has exclusively rubber mat flooring to play and enjoy without hurting themselves. We have Audio Visual class from KinderGarten to Primary for better learning and understanding the concepts easily. We also provide healthy snacks for the children during the break. There is a huge dining hall which is fully furnished for lunch. We have two school buses for children to commute up and down in the morning and evening.
Arumbugal Education Foundation
The foundation aims at making the environment for the youngest world citizens more positive. Employees of production units in all the locations and management team together are involved by taking responsibility to provide bureaucratic assistance by collecting donations, identifying sponsors and hands-on activities to take the project ahead in future. The management team guarantees that the donations received are spent for the school and children. The financial basis of the foundation will be permanently promoted on time. Nevertheless, we are always grateful for all who further support the financial grounds in the form of donations with kind heart and generosity like Sports equipment, play items, Computers or teaching materials are welcome.
Management Team
We have a strong and vibrant team of around 50 employees consisting of Management Arumbugal Educational Foundation. Our management constantly strives support and guide us in all academic and non-academic activities.
Admissions
We follow a stringent policy for admitting children in ARUMUGAL. We enroll children in the ratio of 60:40 where our employee children and children from in and around the village within the radius of 10 kilometers are given admission. In this aspect, we give at least one child from a family gets admission in our school. We collect the nominal fee compared to the other schools in and around the town. Our employee’s and our school staff children get 50% fee concession during their admission. We give priority to the children of widows, single parent and orphan children who are taken care of by the guardian. We give preference for all as we follow secularism. We also admit children with special needs two in a class by assessing the children with the therapist and special educators.
